FDCP Presents A Curation of World Cinema

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) is thrilled to present A Curation of World Cinema, an annual program dedicated to showcasing a diverse selection of acclaimed internationally-produced films to local audiences. This initiative aims to foster a deeper connection between Filipino audiences and the richness of global cinema.

As part of its holistic approach to cinema, the FDCP not only uplifts the local film industry, but also opens doors to its global counterparts. Through this  theatrical program, audiences are invited to explore compelling narratives, stunning cinematography, and unique perspectives from around the globe.

These curated films promise to enrich the Philippine film scene, encouraging cultural exchange and inspiring a greater appreciation for the universal  language of cinema.

The 2025 World Cinema Lineup

Get ready to embark on a cinematic journey around the world with a captivating lineup featuring seven (7) films from critically-acclaimed film directors:

  • Flow (2024) by Gints Zilbalodis
  • Dahomey (2024) by Mati Diop

  • Black Dog (2024) by Guan Hu
  • A Traveler's Needs (2024) by Hong Sang-soo
  • Young Hearts (2024) by Anthony Schattemen
